All purpose flour / Maida - 3 tbsp
Cornflour - 1½ tbsp
Black pepper powder - ½ tsp
Soya sauce - 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste - ½ tsp (optional)
Salt - to taste
Water - just to coat
Oil - for deep frying

Other ingredients:
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Capsicum -
½ (cut into cubes)
Green chillies - 1 to 2 (finely chopped)
Spring onions - 1 stalk ( chopped)
Ginger and garlic - 2
 tsp (finely chopped)
Vinegar - 1 tbsp or to taste
Red chilli powder - ½ tsp
Soya sauce - 1 to 2 tsp
Tomato sauce - 2 tsp
Pepper powder - ½ tsp
Salt - to taste

Oil - 2 to 3 tbsp

Directions:

In a bowl add paneer cubes, cornflour, maida, ginger garlic paste, soya sauce, black pepper powder and salt.  Add water  to just c
oat the paneer pieces with the flour mixture.

Heat oil in a pan, deep fry the paneer pieces till it become golden brown in colour (Don't fry for a long time as the texture of paneer will become rubbery).  Keep aside.

Now in a separate pan, heat oil; add green chillies and chopped ginger garlic.  Sauté till the raw smell goes (make sure not to burn that).

After that add chopped onion, white part of the spring onion and capsicum; sauté till the onion becomes translucent.

Then add soya sauce, red chilli powder, vinegar,  tomato sauce, salt and pepper powder.

Give a quick toss on high flame till the sauces coats the paneer well.

Garnish with spring onions; switch off the gas.  Serve hot!

Note:

You may increase or decrease the sauces, pepper powder and salt amount to suit your taste.

Soya sauce already has salt in it, so be cautious while adding salt.

Adding red chilli powder is optional.  Instead  you can add red chilli paste or red chilli sauce.
