Cheesy Penne Pasta

This is a cheesy and tasty dish, favourite not just for kids but adults as well!

For the white sauce:
Milk - 1 ½ cup
Butter - 1 tablespoon
All purpose flour –1 tablespoon
Processed Cheese – ¼ to ½ cup (keep little for garnishing)
Pepper powder - ¼ tsp
Chili flakes – To taste (optional)
Oregano or mixed herbs – 2 tsp
Salt - to taste

To cook pasta:
Pasta any variety – 1¼ cup
(Here I have used penne pasta)
Oil – to drizzle
Salt - 2 tsp
Water – 4  to 6 cups water

Other ingredients:
Olive oil - 2 tsp
Garlic – 3 to 4 cloves
Tomato sauce – 2 tsp
Cooked mixed vegetables – 1 cup (broccoli, carrot and mushroom)
(Don’t overcook the vegetables; it has to be crunchy)

To cook pasta:

Add water, salt and oil in a  shallow pan and allow to boil. Once it starts boiling, add the pasta to it and cook till it becomes soft.  Once it is done; drain and keep aside.

To prepare white sauce:

Heat butter in a pan, once it is starts melting add all purpose flour and sauté for a second.  Then add milk, stirring continuously to avoid lumps (you can use egg beater).
Once the sauce thickens add pepper, mixed herbs, salt, and cheese. Give it a quick stir and keep aside.

To prepare the main dish:

Take a kadai or pan; add finely chopped garlic and stir for a second.  Now add cooked vegetables, season with chili flakes (optional), tomato sauce, and prepared white sauce.

Cook it for a minute and swich off the flame.  Then garnish with grated processed chesse and serve.
